St. Andrew's Outreach Ministry
On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Friday of each month, St. Andrew's open its doors for a Community Meal Ministry. The mission of this Ministry is to provide hot meals to those who are in need. These ready to serve nutritious meals are prepared and delivered by the Cleveland Community Kitchen. However, on occasion a committee must plan and prepare the entire meal for the feeding of our sisters and brothers in christ. Our program was started on May 31st 2002, since then we have served on a average of 395 persons and 570 meals are served per month.
The Outreach Ministry also offers the opportunity for volunteers to interact with unique individuals whose paths may not have crossed with ours. It is by God's grace and mercy, that we are able to lend a compassionate ear and to offer words of comfort and understanding. As one partaker said, "Many of us have just fallen on hard times we are thankful and appreciate what you all are doing for us. God bless you."
St. Andrew's Outreach Ministry future goals: Community Evangelism and partnership with George Washington Carver School. With your prayers and support, this too will come to fruition. We thank God for giving us the opportunity to feed his sheep.
